A day out to the Cuevas Del Drach Mallorca
The Caves of Drach Mallorca or Cuevas del Drach in Spanish are four fascinating caves that are found in the island of Majorca, in the municipality of Manacor, near to the delightful Porto Cristo. The caves reach a depth of 25 metres and are approximately 4 km in length.The four caves, called Cave of Luis Salvado, Black Cave, White Cave, and Cave of the French, are linked to each other with interesting pathways. The sights in the cave are absolutely spectacular and if the historic point of view does not attract everyone in your group, we are sure that all will be mesmerized by the underground lakes, the pleasantly lit scenery and the captivating surprise towards the end of your trip.
From November 1st until March 12th: 10:45am, 12:00am, 14:00am & 15:30pm.The caves are Closed on December 25th and January 1st.
Facilities at the Caves
There is free parking, gardens, bar, souvenir shop, toilets on site, cash machine, a public telephone, snack area, and a bus stop.
Porto Cristo is only 500 metres away, offering a wide range of shops and restaurants. Why not schedule extra time for your trip to the caves and enjoy a bite out locally? After your tour of the caves, you are in local distance of the beach and port from where you can take exciting boat trips on the east coast of Majorca.
As places are limited to the caves each day, tickets show your personal time of access to the cave, therefore once purchased it is advised to ensure that you allow sufficient time to turn up at the entrance ten minute before your visit.
To purchase a ticket on the day and not in advance, the ticket office will be open from 9am.
